SaVi is satellite visualization software that lets you create, run, examine, and modify satellite orbits in two and three dimensions. Simulations of Iridium, Globalstar, Galileo, GPS, and other satellite constellations are included. SaVi requires Tcl and Tk on a system with Unix libraries. SaVi works well with the 3D renderer Geomview. Geomview is optional, though recommended for its 3D rendering capabilities.

Changes: This release adds a fisheye option to the plot location on the coverage map, improves Geomview snapshot handling of file paths containing a space, is compatible with Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, only uses -redrawn-menus on Mac OS X Leopard when required, is compatible with Tcl/Tk 8.5, builds on Ubuntu 9.10 and Fedora 12.0, fixes saving satellites to save all names but not sunlight, tidies up texts for narrow window widths, and makes the configuration advice script smarter.
