GnuAccounting is an accounting and bookkeeping application. It interfaces with Moneyplex, Starmoney, Karm, and Winston, embeds OpenOffice.org and Firefox, and utilizes either HSQLDB or a separate MySQL installation.
Changes: This version features a Windows installer. The migration to Hibernate was completed, reintroducing application portability and MySQL support and introducing support for all other Hibernate databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, DB2, Informix, Interbase, etc.). New transaction types are now available (receipt and shipping ticket) and integration with ICAL-compatible groupware like Kolab, Lotus Notes, and Microsoft Exchange has been added. The build system was migrated from Automake to Ant.
