The VA has awarded the long-anticipated VistA Open Source custodial agent contract to TIAG. “…The vendor, TIAG, is a management and technology services company, which has performed business process and clinical applications work for the Defense Department…”

MinimPy is a free open source desktop application for managing the whole process of minimization. MinimPy provides easy control over complicated aspects of a minimisation protocols through a tabbed window interface. It is a platform independent open-source desktop software written in Python programming language. The program is freely available for download under GPL license.

Wardwiki is a wiki to aid foundation doctors in the UK manage their ward work more effectively. In this way it complements other, more academic websites and wikis by giving more practical guidance.

As a lot of people have realized, OpenEMR’s interface looks like something that came out of a 60′s time capsule. A company, EHR Live, has updated the interface to provide a more visually appealing interface that makes OpenEMR marketable in today’s marketplace.

This new interface could change the immediate perception of the program and bring OpenEMR into the same arena as other big time proprietary software vendors with nicely done interfaces. The feature set of OpenEMR has been always fair, but you can’t sell a diamond if it looks like a piece of coal.
